Kids With Asthma Can...

Winners of our Fifth Annual Art Contest. This contest is open to all students enrolled in grades 3 through 5 in public and private schools. The top three poster winners will receive gift certificates from Wal-Mart. All students who enter the contest will receive a participation certificate.

Winners of our Fourth Annual Art Contest. This contest is open to all students enrolled in grades 3 through 5 in public and private schools. The top three poster winners will receive gift certificates from Wal-Mart. All students who enter the contest will receive a participation certificate.

The Goal is Control

Winners of our Second Annual Art Contest will be announced on May 6, 2014, World Asthma Day. This contest is open to all students enrolled in grades 3 through 5 in public and private schools. The top three poster winners will receive gift certificates from Wal-Mart. All students who enter the contest will receive a participation certificate.

The theme for the asthma art contest is "The Goal is Control".






2013 Asthma Poster Art Contest

The theme for the asthma art contest was "Asthma Control Makes Life Good".

Congratulations to our overall winner, Kaitlyn Votava, a third grade student at Hertford Grammar Elementary School/Perquimans County School District. Kaitlyn received a $25.00 gift card and grand prize ribbon.

The theme for the art contest was "Asthma Control Makes Life Good". We had over 1000 posters submitted from public and private schools in elementary grades 3-5 in the seven county Albemarle Regional Health Services area.

Kaitlyn is pictured with Dr. Margaret Donohoe, Chairperson of the Albemarle Pediatric Asthma Coalition & Asthma/Allergy Specialist with Albemarle ENT, Asthma Allergy Associates. Also accompanying her are Hope Ward RN, School Nurse and Ms. Robin Copeland, Art Teacher for Hertford Grammar School.
