2015 Annual Asthma Poster Art Contest

Asthma, What is Your Trigger?

Winners of the Third Annual Poster Art Contest were announced on May 5, 2015, World Asthma Day. The contest was open to all students enrolled in grades 3 through 5 in public and private schools.

The top three poster winners received a gift certificate from Wal-Mart. The teacher of the first place winner also received a gift certificate from Wal-Mart.

All students who entered the contest received a participation certificate. Close to 1000 posters were submitted.

Winners

1st Place - Lauryn Brooks, 5th grade student at Buckland Elementary, Gates County School District - $25.00 Wal-Mart gift card

2nd Place - Kayla Morgan, 5th grade student at Buckland Elementary, Gates County School Distric - $15.00 Wal-Mart gift card

3rd Place - Kathryn Christian, 5th grade student at Hertford Grammar, Perquimans County School District - $10.00 Wal-Mart gift card

The teacher for Lauryn Brooks is Mrs. Braatz.
